Entrepreneurial Experience In Abundance

After running a marketing agency, then working as an editor, I set up a magazine to promote independent businesses in my area. My clients ranged from restaurants and yoga studios, to accountants and architects. I spent time with each of them, designing, writing and running uniquely successful campaigns.

Eventually I sold that business but I still provide the copywriting services and creative consultancy that helped my advertisers to consistently generate new clients.

I ran a successful crowdfunding campaign to publish my first children’s book. And I established, ran, then sold a business network for the UK property and construction sector. As a writer for hire, I’ve worked with owner managers to get under the skin of every conceivable industry. 

Everything I learned from running my own businesses, and supporting countless start-ups and scale-ups throughout my 20 year career in communications, I now put into helping others to find their own flavour of success in life and work.

Writing Is In My DNA

Writing is integral to who I am and central to what I do.

I write to consult my intuition and to process experiences. From that lifelong practice came the Soul Scripting Therapeutic Writing Process, now used by people all over the world.

And I write because I love the craft. I’ve been told that I make copywriting feel like wizardry – like I can reach inside a client’s head and distil their thoughts into the words they’ve been trying to find.
